Lobby Ambassador

The Lobby Ambassador is the first and last point of contact for guests as they arrive and depart the property, ensuring that all procedures and guest service standards are met to ensure optimal service to guests and visitors.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

Responsible for receiving and welcoming guests and visitors, always providing an efficient and courteous approach.
Assisting with opening front doors for arriving/departing guests.
Orienting guests with the features of the property and their accommodations.
Ensuring that the rooming of all guests is done in accordance with Sixty standards.
Delivering messages, packages to guests and undertaking various other requests in order to ensure their comfort.
Transporting departing guests’ luggage from the room to the lobby, ensuring that the guest has verified that all luggage has been accounted for.
Ensuring that luggage is stored safely according to Sixty procedures.
Maintaining up to date knowledge of the hotel and local services.
Providing hotel and local area information and responding to guest queries.
Guest Service responsibilities will vary and are inclusive of handling guest luggage.
Monitoring the appearance and condition of lobby and bell closet.
Responsible for all projects assigned by the Front Office Manager
The Lobby Ambassador must possess excellent communication skills combined with a warm personality and ability to engage with all guests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior experience as a lobby ambassador of Hotel Front Desk Agent a plus.
Experience with Opera (hotel software) a plus.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
Must be flexible to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must be able to move lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 70 pounds.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
Must be able to stand, sit or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

JOB TYPE: Full-time

SALARY: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
